Responsibilities: Responsibilities of this department include assessing and collecting taxes for the county, school districts, cities and collection of certain taxes and fees. The Tax Office registers voters, does automobile registration and title transfers, also beer and alcohol licenses. The Tax-Assessor-Collector is elected by the qualified voters for a four-year term. |
